The Revolution MINI Works cam has proven to be one of the best on the market. After seeing hundreds and hundreds of these on the road installed on various MINIs and hearing the good feedback from MINI owners, we decided we needed to offer this. There's really not a lot of choices out there when it comes to camshafts for the Gen1 supercharged MINI, but when there are cams that are engineered as good as this one there only needs to be one brand. While RMW offers this cam in about 10 different grinds we have opted to offer the basics here but can get other cams as needed for specific applications.

The basic (yet a good cam for daily driver/occasional autocross/track) cam is known as the '246' which has duration and will be a great upgrade to a fairly modded MINI R53 or R52 that has a stock tune (non chipped). The idle will be pretty even and the power gains are good. There's little risk in this cam.

The next upgrade is the '250' cam which will also work with a stock tune on a modded MINI as the ECU will self calibrate after a few drives. Initial idle will be a bit choppy but the gains will be worth it.

250 CAM details
Street/track Cam for the R53 MINI. More aggressive profile than the stock cam. Must have for the weekend warrior.  250 deg duration and .400 lift.  More aggressive mid-range. To get BEST results will require a tune, BUT works well with the stock tune. Works exceptionally good with the RMW shorty header. Will provide peak torque with the header at 4600rpms and paired with RMW Big Valve Head is good to 7800rpms
