This kit comes in a sweet spot as far as Big Brake Kits for the MINI are concerned. There's a hug gap between just doing upgraded rotors and pads for about $700 or going to Brembo or Stoptech Big Brakes at about $2,000. At this price this kit should be take seriously and considered a great option. I have found them to be very well made, compact so they fit under tons of wheels yet very well engineered to offer outstanding braking performance. If you're on the fence about doing a Big Brake Kit and are not ready to dump $2K this may be the best solution on the market. Radial mounting provides secure and accurate installation of the forged billet DynaPro four piston caliper with large diameter rotors for this group of front and all wheel drive sport compacts.

These kits are the perfect compliment to wheel, tire, and suspension upgrades on daily drivers, competition vehicles, and custom styled show machines. Each kit is engineered specific for each vehicle to maintain full compatibility with the OE master cylinder output and factory ABS functions. Optional caliper finishes and rotor designs provide choices that enable the builder to personalize the style and optimize brake performance.

Hi,
I recently purchased the belt tensioner from Alta and had it installed. Had I only known over the past several thousand miles that my shock was bad, I would have changed it sooner. The shop guys brought the old one out to show me that it was completely useless. Since replacing it my mileage has increased dramatically, and performance as well. apparently the drive belt was slipping on the super charger. And power, all I can say is "Yeah, Baby". Thanks guys for making this part available.
