Those are called rivets which are extremely durable and strong when installed correctly using a rivet gun, however, standard stainless bolts and nuts sourced from a local hardware store will work just as well.

The hardware included in with the brackets is pretty useless. How are these supposed to attach to the hood with 6 nail/pins included?

If you dig the looks of the OEM MINI Driving lights but don't want to pay the big price tag you'll need a set of these brackets in order to mount a set of lights up front. While this kit is only the two mounting brackets, it opens up lots of options for using Hella, Piaa, IPF or other brands of lights that are more affordable than the OEM MINI driving lights. Sold as a set of two. Designed to work with any factory installed grill on the Gen 1 MINI. Does NOT include any lights, wiring, etc.

Search high and low across Canada for a Mini wheel well access cover. Small piece of plastic that enables access to back of head lights. Mini Canada said i would have to buy a full wheel well for approximately $180.00 CDN. Came to this site and found the access cover SKU 51772751776, $8.25!

Sku: NM.881201B, I bought these rims sometime in 2018, I drive the car only on warm sunny summer days, it doesn’t see rain or snow. That said.. last week my TPMS light came on, my husband took the wheel off and the rim had a 2.5” split in it. Not from hitting anything, it looks like a stress fracture. I’m not sure what caused this or why, just want to say be careful and beware as I’m sure it could be a hazard at certain speeds.
