NOTE: This product is typically made to order and takes 4-5 weeks for production, however we have been trying to keep one of each in stock so please contact us if you are interested as we MAY have one in stock. This steering ships ready to install and you will need to transfer over your airbag and steering wheel controls. If you'd like to sell us your old steering wheel we will buy it for $40 as long as it's not bent.

We use genuine MINI steering wheels and have them hand wrapped in high quality Italian leather on the outer perimeter and a perforated leather on the inside accented with red stitching. The finished product is flat out stunning and will help bring a aging MINI back to life. Years or wear and tear take a toll on a steering wheel and as the main contact with your car having a quality feeling steering wheel makes a big difference in the driving experience.

This is one of the most stunning upgrades we've seen for the MINI. There's nothing that gets more attention WHILE you're driving than the steering wheel and this is simply a piece of art. Featuring a flat bottom, luscious carbon fiber top and bottom with left and right side flanked with smooth perforated leather. Top it off with red stitching and it simply takes your breath away.

This steering wheel is for a manual transmission gen1. Also, please note that is the 3 spoke design and it will fit the 02-04 models but you will need to buy a new airbag and steering trim if you are converting to a 3 spoke from the older 2 spoke design. Otherwise if your Gen1 MINI already has a 3 spoke you will just transfer over your steering trim and airbag.

Hello Outmotoring,
I have purchased your stage 1 speed upgrade and the results are amazing.
Next I plan to add the header & exhaust. Also the brake upgrade.
Thank you for your research and advice.
I think it would be helpful if you also added a suspension replacement/upgrade option like your speed upgrades.
I am a pretty much amateur with all the products available, and as an owner of a 2008 convertible S will be needing to replace these components soon.
Please provide upgrade options.

I recently installed the aftermarket chrome interior package on my Mini 2 door coupe S. Prior to installation the carbon black interior felt dark and somewhat cheap. After installation the interior came alive. It appears much richer and bright and almost a different interior. It takes patience to install all of the pieces but it is time well spent. Highly recommended.
