I'm happy with this product, nice little upgrade.

Some installation tips: you need a hexagonal head or allen key to remove the single screw holding the old panel in place.

With determination and patience you *can* get the product in place. Just don't be afraid to bend it. But it's not easy though, it does not slip right in.

The other option is to do what John (reviewer before me) suggests.

sweet little product. matches perfectly.

install is tricky, you can't just stuff it in there. i loosed my lower center console (2 screws in cup holders and 2 under mirror adjusters) then removed the lower screws on the pillars. that let me pull everything forward and create enough room to stuff it back there.

Make use of the space under the center console with this handy, custom 'cubby' box which is now included with every 2005 and newer Generation 1 MINI. We have it for all those who have cars made before the 2005 model year. Easily retrofitable for a factory-installed look in about 10 minutes using standard hand tools. Offers a convenient place to store sunglasses, phones, pens, remotes, or even spare change. Made from ABS plastic which makes for easy cleanup. Includes rubber tray liner that can be removed for cleaning.

Install: first remove the existing 4x5 vented plastic panel held in place with a single Torx screw under the toggle panel. Once that panel is removed fold the new main part of the center console in half along the crease that is molded in. Push it in from the front- under the toggle panel while holding the flap down and rotating it sideways. Push it in and twist as it shifts past the 2 posts on either side of the opening. It will naturally want to unfold and pop into place once in position. Clip the panel into the same location that the removable panel was attached and insert the screw to fasten it in place.

I have just received my sunshades for my Mini Cooper, I am over the moon they fit like a glove which is perfect for protecting us from the Australian sun. Many thanks a great purchase will definitely be buying more goodies for my car.

Both of the front headlight trims came with one having the letter "A" and one having the letter "B" but does not instruct on which one is left and right side. Both pieces are almost identical and fit nearly the same on either headlight trim. I feel that there should be some sort of instruction on which one goes on the left or right side.

After my daughter ran over a piece of "plastic" on the interstate in her 2006 R53 puncturing the fuel tank, I placed an order with Aaron for replacement. Due to the pandemic, inflation and the overall state of the world, both the price of the item from Mini and the shipping costs had increased significantly. Aaron was proactive and made me aware of the changes in price and the potential shipping delays and was willing to work with me on both. I'm happy to say the part part arrived to me sooner than anticipated and I'll be installing it this weekend. Aaron is a great guy running a great company and he has a customer for life!
