I bought a Convertible Rear Beltline Trim Kit for my R52 . I was really concerned if it was going to fit like the original. This part is very expensive, so I was quite concerned. it looks nice once you put it on however the moments the car goes into the car wash all the edges start to stick up and dont stay down

For one thing, it doesn't look like it does in the picture. It's a glossy, vinyl-like tape. When they say "a few extra inches for testing," they really mean a few extra FEET. About 6 actually. It applies easily, and it's extremely sticky, so make sure you take your time to do it right the first time.
