If you don't mind destroying the OEM shifter boot then this thing is a snap (literally and figuratively) to install. You won't need to disassemble the center console. I just broke it off with a screwdriver. The new well pops right in with no tools. Couldn't be simpler.

I have ordered many parts for my Mini Cooper R58 JCW. The customer service at Outmotoring is the very best of any Mini Cooper parts company. My contact with Aaron was fantastic. I'm providing some feedback. We just finished installing Load Floor + Storage Compartment Kit: F56
sku: 51477298611+

The 51477434545 (replaces 51477298597) LEFT TRUNK TRIM does not have a cutout for the 51477298619 Lock for floor panel insert and 51477321718 Trim cover, lock for floor panel insert. Therefore, only one of each of those are needed instead of two.
