aFe has a great reputation and makes good products that are well made, perform well and look great. The AFE Cold Air Intake for the MINI Cooper is no exception. This intake is very well engineered and is designed to replace the factory air box assembly and looks pretty cool when installed. The kit includes a reusable/cleanable cone filter, powder-coated steel intake tube (connects directly to the throttle body like the KN Typhoon), polished heat shield, all necessary hardware, and easy to follow instructions. The aFe kit eliminates the factory air box assembly and by using an aFe cone filter allows more air into the engine which results in more power.
