How many hood scoops has your insanely hot turbo warped? Well, for me, it only got 2 until I replaced the plastic scoop with a Carbon Fiber scoop...but I think having this in place would have saved me from replacing AND color matching the first two scoops. This is the official 'answer' from MINI regarding the widely known "melted hood scoop problem".

It's a dead simple install and can be done with basic hand tools in a few minutes. Mounts to the back side of the hood and helps redirect heat from the turbo when the hood is shut- which in turns keeps your hood scoop from warping! This is a major issue for the Turbo model. Please ADD 2 of these plastic fasteners to your order to install this part.

Please note this is only the Silver heat shield. We have heard reports that the Black panel behind the heat shield has NOT been included in at least some of the 2011 and newer MINIs.

Please note that over the years MINI has had various insulation panels that may or not allow this to attach properly.

Purchased gloss black door handle covers for 2021 F56 Gen 3 JCW 3 door. Easy to install, fit well and look nice--except for the key lock access cover. The 1" x 3/4" cover piece supplied does not actually cover the entire opening and leaves small bits of the underlying chrome visible. This is not visible from a few feet away but is definitely not a perfect fit.
