The FlexPod Solution
The FlexPod is a simple, harmless and seamless way to integrate a pair of gauges into the instrument cluster behind your steering wheel using factory mounting locations for a fully reversible installation. Each of these FlexPod kits comes with brackets and gauge cups. Once installed, your gauges will have a factory installed look, and they’ll be in the perfect spot above the steering column for reading.

Each FlexPod Gauge Mount comes with a purpose-built aluminum Flexpod Bracket, and a pair of custom 52mm or 60mm gauge cups (see drop down menu). The machined billet aluminum bracket attaches securely in 5-10 minutes, requiring no drilling, gluing or other modification. That means it is also completely reversible.

Using socket head cap screws, each 6061 aluminum gauge pod pivots to your desired position until you lock it down with the wrench included with your kit. The gauge is secured in the cup using foam pads on the sides of the gauge cups to create tension. Gauges can also be safely interference fit with the included foam pads. Both options leave no visible cues for a clean looking install.

* IMPORTANT: If you have a portable navigation system, Ipod mount, existing gauges or other accessories already mounted on the back of the Tach this kit will not work.

Installed short shifter kit with no problems except kit did not come with 'o' ring for shifter shaft. Factory 'o' ring was too larger off of OEM shift lever. I would also recommend some good out door adhesive to reinstall dust cover on shift box, because some of the locking tabs may break off when removing. And with this short shifter kit there is no need to modify shifter box as some other products require you to leave dust cover off or purchase a drop cover to accommodate the longer shift lever. Ordered a quicksilver exhaust for my 2007 mini Cooper S and then found it on the competitors website for cheaper. I called and spoke with Aaron and he matched the price. I was very happy .
