If you want to get a great performing intake while sticking with the stock appearance than this intake may be just the thing for you. RPM activated port allows more cool air in to the back side of the intake thus creating more power and sweet sound at higher RPM ranges. Clean, factory styling with the John Cooper Works badge make for a great looking intake. Installs in about 45 minutes.

To have the 4500 RPM flap activated on this product it must be wired using the supplied wire kit so the flap "knows" when to open, however many prefer to install this intake with the cowl vent inlet ALWAYS open in which wiring it in is not required and will allow a constant flow of air in from the cowl area at all RPM's. The throttle activated flap was designed for use in the UK where they have stricter noise restrictions on cars. I recommend installing it so the flap is always open.
