Every oil change requires a new filter and some shops use crappy aftermarket filters. Do your MINI right and use the OEM filter which is the best for your vehicle. Even if you have to bring your own filter to the shop, it would be better that whatever they use (unless they use OEM parts). Of course, if you are a DIY oil change kind of person, you'll want to have a hand full of these on hand. The filter being sold on this product page is the yellow filter on the Right. We have shown the white gen2 filter on the left for reference only. This is a 6 pack of filters.

Thanks so much, I installed the MSD coil, MSD 8.5 mm wires and Iridium plugs. Mini runs much better, even idles at lower rpms and seem smoother in all gears.
I'm thinking it will pay for it's self in gas saving in short order.

Ordered the rear set delete kit (with the seat belt hole option) planning on using it as a platform for my dogs instead of having the enter through the door and sit on the rear seat. After reading through the install procedures and prepping the car for install I noticed that there is only one bolt securing the delete kit. This may be ok for weight reduction but it not good for use with pets.
