If you don't mind destroying the OEM shifter boot then this thing is a snap (literally and figuratively) to install. You won't need to disassemble the center console. I just broke it off with a screwdriver. The new well pops right in with no tools. Couldn't be simpler.

Im in Australia, so receiving my products within two weeks was great. Just arrived today and im so stoked to be doing up my Mini Cooper S with some very cool accessories. A huge thanks to the team at Outmotoring.com for their continuing support and answering all my stupid questions, of which i asked many, even before i had placed an order. After buying LED Rear Tail Lights: GREY Union Jack: R56/7/8/9, one stopped working just after a year. These aren't cheap, and they should last more than a year. Since I purchased them over the 12 month mark, they are not covered under warranty. :( Customer service (Aaron) did work with me to get a new one at a discounted cost so I am thankful for that. So glad I purchased these from Outmotoring!
