I'm so glad I picked one of these up - it makes a HUGE difference in what can be stashed in the Mini glovebox without it all being a big jumble. The small interior of the car is sort of like living in a tiny efficiency apartment - you really have to do whatever you can to optimize the storage and layout, and this item is at the top of my list of Extras I'm Glad I Bought!!

Over time the latch to keep the glove box door closed will fail and the only way to fix it is to replace the whole glovebox assembly. The newer design has a locking mechanism for added security. This product includes new lock cylinder and key. If you have a key already please let us know and we can remove the lock cylinder and key from the product cost to save you about $40.

Customers' comments

Both of the front headlight trims came with one having the letter "A" and one having the letter "B" but does not instruct on which one is left and right side. Both pieces are almost identical and fit nearly the same on either headlight trim. I feel that there should be some sort of instruction on which one goes on the left or right side.

Hello Outmotoring,
I have purchased your stage 1 speed upgrade and the results are amazing.
Next I plan to add the header & exhaust. Also the brake upgrade.
Thank you for your research and advice.
I think it would be helpful if you also added a suspension replacement/upgrade option like your speed upgrades.
I am a pretty much amateur with all the products available, and as an owner of a 2008 convertible S will be needing to replace these components soon.
Please provide upgrade options.
