Shipping Disclaimer:
We love when our customers get their cool MINI stuff fast! Unfortunately, we cannot control what happens to a package once it has been picked up by the shipping courier. For example, if a shipping option estimates the cost for USPS Priority Mail 2-day, the denotation of 2-day Mail is an estimate. The estimate of 2-day is a reflection of average shipping time based on the proximity of your address to ours and how quickly that particular courier can usually ship across that distance. A number of factors, especially inclement weather conditions, affect the swiftness of the shipping carrier once the package is picked up from our warehouse.

Shipping FAQs

How can I estimate shipping to get the best rates?
-Put an item in the cart by clicking the "Add to cart" icon from the product description page.
-Continue shopping until you have added every item you would like to purchase to your cart.
-When you are ready, click "Your Cart" to review the contents of your cart.
-Enter your Shipping + Billing (if different) Address and the shipping options will auto-fill with shipping costs using UPS or USPS.
-At this point your card has NOT been charged, but you can complete your purchase by entering payment information and clicking 'Submit order'.
-If you do not wish to complete the purchase, simply click the back button on your browser.
- Please note that our shipping calculator does NOT calculate shipping cost based on the dimensions of the box and can only use the weight of the item, HOWEVER in some cases UPS and Fedex use "Dimensional Weight" based on the volume of the box NOT the weight. In these instances some international shipments and some US shipments may NOT be accurate. This is very common with large items such as trim, door panels, wheels, exhaust systems, etc- especially those shipped internationally.

Pricing and availability

While we strive to keep inventory on site for high demand items we do not keep all 41,000+ items here at our warehouse in Knoxville TN, however we can, in most cases get whatever item is needed in 3 business days and can then promptly ship. In some cases we may have items shipped direct from a suppliers warehouse which his called a 'drop ship'.  In this case we will generally email you to let you know what to expect.

We source products from over 300 manufacturers and distributors around the world. Each of these can and regularly change their prices based on market conditions, materials, or taxes, etc. We strive to keep the prices on our website up to date but in some cases these changes happen so fast we cannot keep up. If you order an item and the price changes since we last updated our site we will let you know asap and work with you to help get the best price available to us.

How soon can I expect my order to ship?
Most orders are processed and shipped in 1-3 days. In most cases, we are even able to ship orders the same day the order is placed. However, if there are items in your order that are out-of-stock but expected within 2-4 days, your order will be held in order to ship complete and without additional shipping costs. If there is an extended back order time,  we may partially ship the order. In this case, there would not be any additional shipping charges incurred by the customer when the back ordered item does ship.

Please check the product overview section for information about shipping time on custom ordered products. Some items, such as gauge faces and certain watches, are made when ordered and require time for production before they ship.

Why is the shipping calculator showing $0.00 for all shipping methods?
If your order total is $195.00 or more, you have qualified for free shipping - if the order is shipping in the contiguous USA OR. If the order includes large items such as exhaust systems, wheels, body panels, bumper, etc (which are not covered under the free shipping offer) we will calculate the actual shipping cost and contact you before shipping.

As our free shipping promotion states, there are certain restrictions and free shipping is Ground. This means that we opt for the lowest cost, which may increase time before delivery. Therefore, any selection of "#-day" shipping is invalid when free shipping applies. If you wish to expedite shipping on a "free shipping" order, please give us a call to discuss prices of  Next Day, Second Day or Third Day options. We will not cover the entire cost of expedited shipping, but typically offer a discount so as to allow some benefit from the "free shipping" promotion.

If your order total is less than $195.00, and there are no costs associated with the shipping options, it is likely an error has occurred. We may contact you to inform you of the shipping costs if an order that should have shipping costs submits without any.

Do you ship on the weekends?
No, office hours are M-Th 9:00am-5:00pm ET and Friday 9:00am-1:00pm ET. Information about shipping procedures only applies during business hours. However, orders can be placed via the website at any time day or night. E-mails can be sent and voicemails can be left at any time as well.

What are the cut-off times for having in-stock items ship same day?
USPS picks up from our warehouse at 11:00 am and UPS at 3:00 pm (except on Fridays when we close at 1:00 pm). Processing of orders can take minutes or hours. We strive to give UPS Next Day and UPS 2nd Day orders priority when ordered before the cut-off time. If you need an item by a deadline and are concerned that you have missed the cut-off time, please call us to discuss what may be done to expedite shipping.

Please note: the 1st business day after the ship date is considered the first day of shipping. Next Day Air shipments placed on Friday before 10:00 am, which are in stock, will arrive on Monday. 2nd Day orders placed on Thursday before 2:00 pm, which are in stock, will arrive on Monday.

Are all the items on the website shipped from the Out Motoring warehouse in Knoxville, TN?
No, actually some larger items are not stocked in the warehouse. These items, such as wheels, exhausts, headers, intercoolers, etc., are typically shipped directly from the manufacturer to you. That means that as these items are ordered from us, we then put in an order with our supplier. At that time, we may find out there is a delay or backorder status for the item. We then alert the customer who placed the order with us and evaluate options from there. The customer may choose to wait on the backordered item or cancel the item and receive a refund.

Do rates for international shipments include customs fees/duties/taxes?
We do NOT ship internationally as of Feb 1 2023. After many years of shipping internationally we have found a large percentage of the transactions to be fraudulent and we will no longer assume this risk.

What are my shipping options?
We offer shipping with USPS and UPS, including shipments to PO Boxes, AK, HI, Puerto Rico, APO/Military and international.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase on items that have not been used or damaged in any way. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment when possible.  Original shipping charges will be deducted from the refund unless the return is the result of an error by Return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility unless the return is the result of an error by Refunds are processed within 7-10 days of being received.

- It is the customers responsibility to confirm all parts received are the correct parts for their vehicle. If the wrong part is supplied by Out Motoring, it is the responsibility of the customer to check before the parts are installed on their vehicle. If incorrect parts are installed, Out Motoring cannot be held responsible for any damages or labor.

General Questions:

Why will the shipping calculator not display shipping rates?
If you are getting an error, it is usually due to a misspelling or the total weight of the products in the cart is more than the max allowed for a certain country or shipping method. Simply edit the cart to take out large items like exhausts or coil overs, and contact us so we can assist you with completing your purchase.

How do I make a purchase?
Simply click on the "Add to cart" icon from the product description page to add a particular item. Continue shopping until you are all ready to check out. When you are ready, click "Your cart" to review and finalize your purchase. Follow the instructions as given. To place an 'old school' order, please complete the order online and click "phone in credit card info" OR "money order/check" and mail it in with your order number. If you prefer, you can print this form and send it to us. Please be sure to include your phone number and email address.

How can I pay?
Out Motoring accepts PayPal, VISA, Discover, American Express and MasterCard credit cards through our secure ordering system. Alternately, you can also call in your credit card information or choose to mail in a check or money order after completing your order online.

Do you have a printed catalog?
Not at this time.

Do you charge sales tax?
A sales tax of 9.75% is added to all orders shipped to Tennessee addresses. Sales tax is not charged on shipments outside of Tennessee.

How do I know that my order went through?

If you get a "congratulations" page directly after finalizing payment details, your order has successfully been submitted into our system. As a second confirmation, our system automatically generates an email order confirmation to the email address on your order form. After your order has been approved and shipped, we usually send a tracking number via email. If the order was drop shipped from another location, you may need to email us ([email protected]) for the tracking information. Please double check all email addresses. We send all shipment information and receipts to the email that you provide at checkout. Please keep in mind that our emails may be designated to your Spam or Junk folder, especially with AOL.
