Product worked great for pulling a small utility trailer; however, the hitch actually bent at the weld when used with a cargo carrier that was well under the 150lbs.

Advantages: It's great to have a hitch.

Disadvantages: Not easy to install. Had to completely remove the reinforcement bar to install. Hitch failed and messed up my rear bumper. It is bent at the weld and the metal is splitting.

Do not recommend this product to any mini owner. My jmtc 47mm was not made properly and last less than one year before it disintegrated while I was on the track.

Advantages: Extra power gains after re-tune to get 50hp 59lbs torque.

Disadvantages: Needs re tuning, poorly constructed, lacks heat shielding, cast iron construction, thinner propeller. Required new output exhaust hardware.

Ordered this to replace my OEM bypass valve and glad I did. Original one was just caked with black grease/soot/carbon/dirt...it was just bad.

After installing the new BPV from Detroit Tuned, I notice a slightly quicker throttle response and a significant reduction in the "YOYO effect" (slowing down, foot off throttle, feels like it speeds up for a second).

I highly recommend this modification as it's (relatively) inexpensive and only takes about three or four hours for someone of low experience to install.

I installed the "Budget Master" disks and rotors for a friend before she turned in her R50 lease. The parts looked well made and went together quite easily, fitting her 2006 Cooper well. She reported that the car stopped better than ever for the 1 month she drove the car before returning it at the end of lease.

The pads included a slot for the wear sensor, which I was not expecting at this price.

Great quality shift knob that I got from this website 2 years ago. The one sent was silver instead of black, though. I don't even see an option for silver. I used it anyway and it still looks great.

These lights are a super bright white light. I am truly impressed with them. They are easy to install also

Mine just came in the mail today. Its a million times easier to get this to go into and come out of the tube that leads to the oil sump than the factory dipstick. At 80$, its a bit pricey, but considering how much easier this makes checking oil levels, I highly recommend it. Better have an expensive dipstick and a properly filled sump than a broken dipstick and an oil starved and blown engine.

Helped make my R50 look clean. Easy install and doesn't block my lights or airflow.

I agree with the previous reviewer, all lighter colored areas have faded and yellowed over time. I don't know what the life expectancy should be but I would not buy these again.

Put this on my F57 2017 Mini Cooper S Convertible. Looks great! Similar quality and match to OEM mirror covers. Not as tight to the MINI logo as I wanted but not a big deal.

Advantages: Easy to install. Looks on par with OEM parts.

Disadvantages: Not as tight of a fit around MINI logo as I wanted.

Super easy aftermarket upgrade

Advantages: No more blown lamps

Disadvantages: No need to purchase any more Festoon lamps

This bar was easier to install than any of the multiple bars I have installed on earlier MINI generation cars. Excellent instructions from NM. Most difficult part of install is getting at the forward bolt for the brackets. A real quality product. I have ordered the NM sway bar links after I saw what MINI uses...a plastic link that needs to be stronger in my opinion.

Advantages: I immediately noticed a general stiffing of the suspension. Understeer was drastically reduced. I am still experimenting with the various settings. For a start I set it at the softest setting as recommended by NM. I may stiffen it up more as I put more miles on.

Disadvantages: None

There is a clear layer that must be removed after the film is applied. I assume that is what you are referring to? If not, the suface must not have been prepped well enough to allow the sticker adhesive to properly bond to the chrome trim.

It works as intended. Looks great on my Astro Black 2006 r50.

Advantages: Dark without being hard to see when lit. 1/3 the price of similar products.

Disadvantages: Fitment is slightly smaller than the stock light; there's a little bit more gap surrounding the light, so it's not quite as flush. Very minor gripe.

SKU 917-315 Replacement METAL oil dipstick; R52/3 "S". Works great and definitely unbreakable. My original dipstick split/cracked, and then the equivalent that my shop supplied ($35) broke immediately. Comparing to the original, appears to be correct length. Slips in and out just fine. Tip is just as challenging to read as the original LOL. Can't beat the price and once again - indestructible. Happy Motoring

Works as advertised. I have a Galaxy S7 in an Otter box. Magnetic mount holds on tight.

Advantages: Quick install and easy to use. Phone easy to see.

Disadvantages: I switched to left hand mount. It was too close to the right vent.

The hardware included in with the brackets is pretty useless. How are these supposed to attach to the hood with 6 nail/pins included?

Looks awesome but melts - have gone through 2, getting ready to purchase a long overdue 3rd one.

Lights are bright and easy to install. I give the lights a 4 star rating because the lights flash like strobe lights for a few seconds, after the Mini is started, if you don’t turn the headlights on. Once the lights are on, they work fine.

Advantages: Bright, easy to install.

Disadvantages: Flash like strobe lights for a few seconds after the Mini is started. This is if the lights are not turned on.

I bought these almost 6 years ago, and I can't say I'm too impressed with the way they've held up. After about 3 years the white areas have yellowed considerably, which looks quite ugly and weathered, as compared the OEM mirror covers I own, which I've had longer, and still look just as good as when I bought them.

I also found that the driver's side housing never fit as tight as the one on the passenger side. This however, may just be a flaw with pair I ended up with.

In short, I wish I'd have asked about getting the OEM version, (which I think was a special order item at the time) that was only about $40 more.
My advice, skip this and pay extra for quality.

Advantages: *Slightly cheaper that the OEM version.

Disadvantages: *Discoloration over time.
*Fits poorly.

Look amazing. I was on the fence between these and the other "Half Jack" style they sell as well. These are better than I expected but they are way darker than the stock photo. If you are standing a few feet back, it looks like a black insert. Unless the light is hitting it or you look closely, you won't really see the UJ. Which is great for me, but you may want the glag design to be prominent like the photo. It's more of a ghost UJ if you can picture that.

Disadvantages: Not exactly as pictured

Very satisfied with my purchase and installation was straightforward. Took it out for a test ride and 2 noticable differences;) 1) the sound 2) signficant power output in 3rd gear merging into highway traffic. I'm happy and recommend this upgrade for anyone looking for a little more pep!
