Took it out for a test ride and 2 noticable differences;) 1) the sound 2) signficant power output in 3rd gear merging into highway traffic. Installed short shifter kit with no problems except kit did not come with 'o' ring for shifter shaft. Factory 'o' ring was too larger off of OEM shift lever. I would also recommend some good out door adhesive to reinstall dust cover on shift box, because some of the locking tabs may break off when removing. And with this short shifter kit there is no need to modify shifter box as some other products require you to leave dust cover off or purchase a drop cover to accommodate the longer shift lever. Without a doubt, Out Motoring is the best aftermarket retailer I've worked with. I came in to buy some small parts. I mentioned that I needed a few of the nutcerts for my Mini. One part that I needed had to be shipped to me. When it arrived they had included the nutcerts.

This Christmas they worked with my father to get my new DDM air intake to me by Christmas, despite it being back ordered most places.

Today I ordered a few more parts I needed before taking my Mini into the shop. They were shipped out within 6 hours of placing the order.

Synopsis: The answer to the incessant beeping!
If you've got a MINI with the TPMS system (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and for one reason or another need to get another set for a new set of aftermarket wheels (the wheels will need to be TPMS ready) this is what you will need to make it happen. Kit includes 4 Sensors and 4 Valves specific to the MINI. Basically all 2007 and newer MINI's have TPMS and the way you can tell is to look at the valve stems; they will have a 1/2" or so funky looking cap and they're usually a light grey but there are also green and black caps out there.


Please note, as of the Sept 2009 build date MINI has a different frequency for the TPMS sensors. Please note the option on the drop down menu for build date and slight price change for the newer TPMS kit. Also, the Gen3 MINI ("F" series models) use a different kit as well. Please select accordingly.
