Details

If purchasing a Air Lift suspension kit you will need a kit such as the Air Lift 3P to complete the system. This is the compressor, tank, additional lines and other components to make the system function properly - AND allow you to control it from INSIDE your car while on the road!

The 4 gallon tank that is included in this kit is ALMOST as wide as the MINI trunk floor and the compressor is about as large as a size 14 hi-top shoe (for reference). You may need to create a wood platform/floor or other support system to hold these large components in place safely.

The 3P kit allows for air bag adjustment and general adjustment of the car, however it does NOT have a system in place to 'understand' where in relation to the ground the car is actually sitting and make adjustments to the ride height automatically as the upgraded kit "3H" does. The 3H adds 4 ride height sensors that allow you set various height levels in a program and if you add more passengers or change the weight of the car the system will auto calibrate to maintain the same ride height. If you're not sure if you NEED this feature you can start with the 3P system and upgrade to the 3H by adding the ride height sensors and associated wiring.

Air Lift Performance 3P combines pressure-based control with the ability to add ride-height sensing technology with the upgrade to height sensors. While both types of air management have been utilized before, this is the first product to harness the benefits of both sytems – instantly improving suspension control, performance, and vehicle ride flexibility.

I talked to Aron. He went out of his way on his day off. Came and open the shop since i was needing a flywheel for my R56-S. I leave about an hour away from the shop.
