Powerflex Upper Engine Mount Bushing Insert is a quick and easy way to stiffen the OE oil-filled engine mount, improving throttle response and gear changes by providing greater engine stability. Some added NVH may be experienced when fitting this part in the street version. This product is also offered in a Race version.

This bushing support goes UNDER the front upper hydraulic motor mount on the 2005+ Gen1 "S" models and helps keep the mount from failing prematurely.

*MINI changed the upper mount sometime in early 2005 to a hydraulic bushing. Please confirm via visual inspection if these bushings will fit your year and model as MINI has changed the motors mounts at least once since the car was released.

Thanks so much, I installed the MSD coil, MSD 8.5 mm wires and Iridium plugs. Mini runs much better, even idles at lower rpms and seem smoother in all gears.
I'm thinking it will pay for it's self in gas saving in short order.
