I bought this plug since I want the best for my MINI. However, when attempting to install it, it only goes a little in and stops. Maybe the threads don't match 100 %? I didn't want to force it and maybe strip the threads on my oil pan, so I installed a OEM plug instead. Nice idea with a magnet, though...

7/16"X20X3/8" Magnetic Drain plug for the Roots MINI Cooper S supercharger. Plated in high-end "ELECTROLESS NICKEL" FINISH. Features a large 1/4" diameter high temperature magnet. Designed to extend the life of your blower! It will save you hundreds of dollars for a bearing rebuild. Removes the fine metal particles out of the supercharger oil reservoir. Installs on the passenger side of the blower housing.
