The Omicron 2 hood scoop was designed to improve the flow towards the inside of the hood maximizing the quantity of air and reducing its velocity and turbulence.

This scoop has been tested the scoop in the real world to a speed up to 160Km/h, on peak temperatures of the engine and environment without noticing any deformation of the scoop. Its robust design and detailed fabrication guarantee its durability, in all weather conditions.

It has 4 stainless steel bolts embedded with fiberglass to ensure its fixation to the vehicle with the provided or the OEM nuts, it is a direct replacement of the original scoop, with a more aggressive design and better performance.

Ships in primer finish ready to be painted to match your MINI.

These are the perfect addition to my JCW. I have a red over black JCW with the Xenon head lamps & black housings. These are the perfect way to tone down the brash bright red of the tail/brake lamp housings to match the front lamps. Not only do you eliminate the chrome but the housing itself is black thus darkening the appearance of the entire assembly. I would say these should be flying off the shelf but i don't want everyone to have a MINI that looks as good as mine.

Hi,
I recently purchased the belt tensioner from Alta and had it installed. Had I only known over the past several thousand miles that my shock was bad, I would have changed it sooner. The shop guys brought the old one out to show me that it was completely useless. Since replacing it my mileage has increased dramatically, and performance as well. apparently the drive belt was slipping on the super charger. And power, all I can say is "Yeah, Baby". Thanks guys for making this part available.
