Someday you may find your MINI power windows stop working. It's likely that the motor is at fault. Usually if the window regulator goes out you'll hear the motor working but the window will not go up and down. If you hear the motor it is likely a bad regulator.

Please note there was a change in this part number in June of 2005. This part is for gen1 MINIs made after June of 2005

This is a review of the M12 stud conversion kit for the R53 MINI Cooper S. This is the second stud kit that I have installed. The first set was of much lessor quality and was totally worn out within six years of auto-x, track days and winter tire change-over.

These new studs appear to be far superior and slightly longer. I also like the unthreaded portion that allows lining up the nut to help prevent cross threading.

I do have one question; Do you recommend any using any lubrication on the threads of the studs?

Purchased many things from you and have had nothing but great service. My only complaint is the mini countryman carbon fiber covers I received. They provided a glue with it that youre supposed to apply to the back, I did and now my carbon fiber covers are ruined as is the finish on my hood, I dont know what type of glue this is but it doesnt seem to make the covers stick only leak everywhere, so thats 150 out of my pocket to have this stuff buffed off my car.
