The DTE PowerControl X module offers 3 selectable driving programs with 7 power levels each. Choose your favorite tuning setting.

With DTE’s PowerControl X, drivers have the option to choose their own and fully customizable driving program. DTE have developed a multi-map tuning technology which can optimize up to five different channels, all in real time. Whether it be common rail pressure, boost pressure, turbo pressure, intake manifold pressure or air mass volume, DTE’s PowerControlX is able to control them all. Even the latest generation and most technically demanding engines are effortlessly controlled, all within a multi-dimensional multi-map environment. The driver is able to select from 3 different programs: Sport, Dynamic and Efficiency.

Sport
In Sport mode, the engine’s parameters are modified for maximum performance. The vehicle reacts more directly for a more responsive driving experience.

Dynamic
The Dynamic mode is a great all-rounder and very well balanced for long distances. The vehicle reacts more dynamically for better agility throughout the rpm range.

Efficiency
The Efficiency mode is focused on improving the engine’s fuel consumption. Savings of up to 15% can be achieved.


Reprogramming for vehicle change. Keep your tuning box up to date

A DTE engine tuning like PowerControlX has the advantage that its installation is very easy. Furthermore, returning back to stock condition is easy as well, e.g. when you change your vehicle. So, you can use your PowerControl tuning box again for your next vehicle. The reprogramming of the used tuning box for your new vehicle is free of charge 2 times for the PowerControl X.

More power, less consumption. Accelerate, up shift, drive at low revs.

PowerControlX enables a driving style with significantly lower revs, which considerably reduces consumption. Shift points can be set earlier and fuel is saved with every revolution of the crankshaft.

- Start off and shift immediately into 2nd gear
- Accelerate quickly and shift up again in good time
- Do not shift down as long as the engine is accelerating

Depending on the driving style, fuel savings of 15% are possible, so the tuning pays off quickly. The main savings potential lies in the increased torque. This is because the additional power is already available in the lower rev range and helps to adapt the driving style.

Multi-Map Technology. Tuning for every sensor.

Adaptive Sensor System.
Intelligent performance increase on driver's command. The Adaptive Sensor System scrutinizes all the relevant engine data and after detecting its respective load state, will provide more power when necessary. Should the driver demand more power, for example, when overtaking, the system will automatically switch on. If the additional power is not used, the system will gradually reduce the power, all power changes are seamless and dynamic. Not only are the best performance yields based on engine load state but also on road speeds, that’s what DTE’s adaptive tuning technology offers, more power with less fuel usage.

Auto Adjust function
This innovation allows DTE’s tuning products to learn the unique characteristics of your vehicle. During a short ‘learning’ phase, the chips memory function records the engines injection cycle data and optimises the reloaded maps accordingly. Standard vehicle tolerances are taken into account and an optimal tune is achieved – all without any complicated driver input.

Engine Protect+
A whole new range of new safety standards are introduced with DTE’s new Engine Protect+ feature. This function has the important task of continually monitoring the ECU’s signals to the engine and safeguarding them against any overloads. The protective functions of the ECU as well as air fuel ratios remain intact and within specification, ensuring complete peace of mind.
