Details

Made from durable outdoor long lasting vinyl, this stripe kit can be used on either the boot or bonnet (buy 2 kits to do both). Easy to apply and maintain, this is a great low cost way to make your MINI even more distinct and personalized. The kit allows the stripes to be installed with as much gap in the middle as desired and at various angles unlike the factory stripes which can only be positioned at the angle that they were cut. Our kit is extra long so you can go wild with the angle and wrap the edge under the bonnet for a clean install. Each kit includes 2 stripes. 6" x 42".

Please note that these checkered pattern graphics are all ONE color and are not a full checkered pattern that is fully opaque. The spaces between each colored square will be the color of your MINI.

Simple installation requires a 10:1 ratio of water to soap in a spray bottle, 45 minutes or so and some patience. Dimensions of EACH stripe is 5" x 36" or 40" (length is determined by model).

Please ensure the drop-down menu selection accurately represents your model so as to ensure best fitment length. Each kit includes 2 stripes.

I had a bit of disappointment today when my new hitch arrived - it was not the correct model for my car.
In retrospect, I looked back at the ordering page and found that it was my mistake but I could see why. I searched for a hitch for a Mini-S R53 and it took me to a 1001 which is for a non-S R50. The model numbers for the hitches and the cars they match up with were at the very bottom of the page, which I didn't see when ordering. It would have been very helpful if the drop-down menu had not just the hitch model number (1003) but the car model as well (R50, R53...) to help avoid this confusion.
It cost me return shipping and another week or more of wait. Not fun.

Without a doubt, Out Motoring is the best aftermarket retailer I've worked with. I came in to buy some small parts. I mentioned that I needed a few of the nutcerts for my Mini. One part that I needed had to be shipped to me. When it arrived they had included the nutcerts.

This Christmas they worked with my father to get my new DDM air intake to me by Christmas, despite it being back ordered most places.

Today I ordered a few more parts I needed before taking my Mini into the shop. They were shipped out within 6 hours of placing the order.
