With Ferodo race pads low- and high-speed braking efficiency, reduced stopping distances and consistent brake pedal feel are yours from first time - every time. This new generation of friction material is very low in compression ensuring a firm pedal, whilst still providing great life for both disc and pad. Combined with low wheel dusting and good noise characteristics this product is the brake pad for the driver who demands the ultimate in track day braking performance.

Ferodo Brake Bedding-in Procedure
To achieve optimum performance from Ferodo Racing brake pads please follow the instructions below:
  1. Perform 25 to 30 trial brake applications, each of approximately 4 seconds, using around 50% of normal race pedal pressure. To shorten the procedure applications can be made along the straights as well as through bends.
  2. On completion of trial applications return to the pit lane. Inspect the surface of the brake pads from the two wheels which have been working the hardest. There should be evidence of contact over the full pad area but without glazing. The pads are now ready to race.

Whilst we recommend that pads are inspected, if time does not allow this, assuming procedure (1) has been carried out and a short period of time has elapsed to allow the brake system to cool, the pads will be ready to race.

Important: to optimize the performance and life of both brake pads and discs, during the bedding-in period heat in the braking system should be built up progressively. Pad wear inspection: brake pads must have at least 2mm of friction material. Excessively worn brake pads must be replaced. Thermal paint temperature control. Using this procedure, if none of the 3 paints has changed appearance and the braking performance is not considered satisfactory, it may be necessary to reduce cooling to the discs. If all 3 paints have changed appearance, it may be necessary to increase cooling to the discs.

This is a review of the M12 stud conversion kit for the R53 MINI Cooper S. This is the second stud kit that I have installed. The first set was of much lessor quality and was totally worn out within six years of auto-x, track days and winter tire change-over.

These new studs appear to be far superior and slightly longer. I also like the unthreaded portion that allows lining up the nut to help prevent cross threading.

I do have one question; Do you recommend any using any lubrication on the threads of the studs?

I have ordered many items from Outmotoring in the past (I live in London) and the service they have given me has always been first class. If you have an issue with regard to an item or order, all you have to do is email them and they will always try to help you out and resolve the problem. I would recommend them for any of your Mini accessories. Eddie

Hi Aaron,I\'m just dropping you a line to say thank you for your awesome customer service. Frank arrived in the UK safe and sound yesterday with the auto sport module which I installed this morning. It was easy to wire up and works perfectly, I\'m thrilled with it.In the UK. I\'m a member of a couple of mini cooper forum\'s which I\'ve already posted the installation process on and will gladly give people your company details should they also wish to purchase a module from you. Once again thank you so much for making this a very pleasant and easy process from start to finish.
