Please note, this product ONLY works on the MINI N14 engine (with the stock turbo) which is the turbo engine used in the gen2 MINIs up until the end of 2010. Revolution MINI Works has one of the best systems in place for remote tuning the Gen2 N14 Turbocharged MINIs and offers a wealth of experience tuning MINI's.

After tuning well over 1,000 MINIs across the world Jan has proven to offer tuning to match nearly every combination of modifications, upgrades, driving style and budget. The way the remote tuning process works is pretty simple. The full kit can be purchased online with just gets you the flash tool and a order number with Jan to then work with you directly via email and phone to extract your stock programming from your MINI. He will then work with you to find out what modifications you have or will have installed before the tune is finally programmed. He will then customize a tune for your MINI and email back to you. With the Flash Tool that is included in this kit you will be able to install the custom tune in place of the tune that MINI programmed from the factory. All this is needed is a computer with a internet connection as well as some patience as you work through the back and forth emails and phone calls to get the custom tune created. This process will take at LEAST 3 business days.

Please allow 4-7 business days to complete this process and more depending on overlapping of emails, time zone changes, etc. The wait is well worth it. After this kit is purchased here on our website will ship the Flash Tool (and OBD cable with USB plug to sync with your computer) to you and at the same time email your order number to Jan at RMW along with your email address and phone number so you can begin the tuning process. We will cc you on this email so you can begin the remote tuning process. Please note, the purchase of this kit includes a "one time" tune by Jan/RMW and is NOT a ongoing process but rather a single 'tune' which can be updated/retuned at a later time (for $350). In this case you will need to KEEP the flash tool instead of returning it to us for a partial refund. The hand held Flash Tool and cable included in this kit is designed to be used ONLY once and is locked to the VIN number for the MINI that is tuned by RMW and cannot be used on another MINI unless the unit itself is reflashed by the manufacturer. This Flash Tool CAN be returned to OutMotoring for a partial credit of $40. The tool is not needed for any reason other than programming / installing a tune so if you do not need to keep it feel free to ship it back to us with a copy of your invoice number and we will issue a $40 credit.
