Gen2 MINI models including the R55, R56, R57, R58, and R59 are getting to the point where they can almost qualify for 'antique' car plates in the USA (most states) and with there being so many of these loved cars on the road we have found that many owners want to keep these cars on the road or their garage for the rest of their life. We're here to help the cause!
Please note due to the many variations in front and rear swaybar diameters we have opted to **NOT** include swaybar bushings with this kit. Most base model R55/6/7/8/9 models have 16mm rear swaybars while the S and JCW models typically had 18mm bars. Most S models have a 22.5 front swaybar but the sports suspension option has 23.5mm diameter. Some JCW models or MINIs that have the sport suspension option may have larger swaybars. Convertible and roadster models may also have larger swaybars for added chassis stiffening. Please confirm using a dial caliper or other measuring device to confirm what size front and rear swaybar your MINI requires and add those to the cart separately by searching the diameter in our search box.

We proudly offer this fairly complete suspension rebuild kit that includes all of the most common components that when replaced will leave your MINI almost new again. Our kit includes Bilstein B4 front and rear shocks, front and rear end links, front and rear upper bushings, front and rear spring perch pads, dust covers, bump stops, control arm bushings, ball joints, and a set of hardware to make the re assembly a breeze. All of the brands we have selected for each component have been chosen based on the reputation of the brand and a price value relationship. We have opted for genuine MINI parts for a few items while other items are aftermarket from companies such as Lemforder, Febi/Bilstein and URO. We feel the combination of the brands selected offers a outstanding value with OE equivalent quality to our customers. Please note that in order to expedite your order we may alternate brands with the same quality but try to stick with the specific brands of each part number listed below.
The Bilstein B4 shocks provide a small performance increase over the stock shocks and would be considered more in line with the Sports Suspension kit that MINI offered as a upgrade to the gen1 MINI model range.
This kit requires re using the factory springs. New springs are about $800 for 4 so it is best to re use them whenever possible or buy used springs as needed to save $$.
