It looks really good for about 6 months then the red on the "s" started to fade.

For anyone considering these guage faces, be aware that the tick marks on the tach between 5500 and 6500 RPM do not light up properly without extensive modifications to the tach.

This is great but is there anyway or place where one can get a custom letter for their MINI? For example: the MINI Cooper S has the red "S" decal but is there anyway that there can be custom lettering just like that for any individual? For those who don't have the Cooper "S"?

Recently bought the Glossy finish for my F55 S. If you're the type of person that can lay down a phone screen protector straight, you can do this. I prepped the beltline with isopropyl alcohol, wiped it down, and applied the vinyl. A little heat gun action and it looks GREAT!

Advantages: De-chroming!

Had these on my Countryman for two years. Looks and cornering was good BUT the ride quality was horrible with any passengers in the car. Under load with passenger(s) the ride was very bumpy and very rigid so much that my wife and 16yr old hated to ride in the car. Also, the car would jump uncontrollably on bumpy or uneven roads.

I find that these sometimes pop out. They always end up sitting on top of the tower, but I'm guessing that one day I won't be able to find them once they've popped out.

it looks nice once you put it on however the moments the car goes into the car wash all the edges start to stick up and dont stay down

I bought a used 2003 Cooper 3 a few years ago, and it didn't come with the shelf. At first I didn't think anything of it, but a couple years later thought that I should get it as I was parking my car in areas where break in were occurring and wanted to keep things in the trunk area without worry. What I didn't expect was how much of a difference it made with the noise in the car! I spent 30 minutes rolling up and down the windows, and opening and closing the sunroof - all the while driving home from work.

Advantages: Privacy for the trunk area, amazing sound absorption

Disadvantages: have to move it out of the way if packing large things into the back of your mini with the seats folded down.

Those are called rivets which are extremely durable and strong when installed correctly using a rivet gun, however, standard stainless bolts and nuts sourced from a local hardware store will work just as well.

I've had these for over a year. They provide great pedal feel and are a lot gripper than the stock rubber covers.

I wanted to de-chrome the belt line of my BRG R56. A black belt line looks nice but is so common. I ordered the red kit from OutMotoring and it didn’t disappoint. High quality 3M automotive vinyl. Fast service. Thanks OM!

Advantages: Easy to install. High quality

Disadvantages: Obviously takes some finesse to do it right. But there is enough extra on the roll if you need to re-do a panel.

It did not fit right. I have to customize it to fit. What a pain. If ur trying to put it ur self make sure u got all the tools u need.

Advantages: I choice this because they r hidden but I didn’t know how they mess up the sizing fitment.

Disadvantages: U have to cut ur bumper and the heat shield.

These are great. I really didn't want to permenently remove the original chrome Mini badge which had been on the car since 2015 (6 years). First I was afraid it would damage the paint or would be difficult to remove. Without question there might have been a different shade under it because of the effect of the sun, so any replacement badge would have had to be exactly the same size to look right.
I failed to realize that the logo on the front is quite a bit larger than the one on the trunk lid. I suggest you measure even if you think you are ordering the correct one, just to be sure.
Once you get the backing peeled off, it is a simple matter to place this over the clean badge. Just hold it down and press for a couple minutes to insure that the adhesive backing has made contact at all points. I elected to not cover with center section with the included sticker as I thought it might look peculiar and well, rather cheap. Perhaps in the future I will give it a go if I decide to change the look.

Advantages: Not permenant so if you grow weary of the black, it can be removed. Strong adhesive, keeps the badge in place. Choice of colors in the center section which you can use or leave off. That way you are covering most of the chrome but the "MINI" logo in the center remains bright in comparison to the black

Disadvantages: Truly I can't think of any disadvantages but should I find one in the future I will edit my review!

Very sturdy and overall worthwhile bumper guard. Very happy with its usefulness and simple design that doesnt make it a total eyesore!

Disadvantages: A little hard to center on my F56. Got it pretty well in the end but took some patience to ensure it was completely aligned before applying. Adhesive is both a bit of an advantage and disadvantage (though minor) one its on, its on and it will NOT move regardless of heat applied!

Nice to be able to order these mats separately instead of buying all 5 mats for $200+ at the dealer!

Picked up the AEM cold air intake and just installed this past weekend on my 2012 R58 JCW. Th install was easy and went in quickly with a minor mod needed to the mounting hole which was drilled out a bit.But unless I missed something, the next morning I went to work with way less power now in the car. and I'm a bit perplexed by the issue.And the check engine light was on. disconnected the battery to try and reset the system with no luck. Car is now at the shop getting looked over. For something that in reading needed zero ECU or tuning needed, has me frustrated. Any reading have any insight would be greatly appreciated.

A little difficult to mount in a Convertible but works great. An ideal attention getter. Wife says I need to install another in my grand-daughter's Mini hatchback.

Finally!!! A replacement for the fail-often but not individually available part.
Replacing the whole unit costs upwards of 400-800 usd incl. the work + parts.
A bargain at twice the price!!

A must keep in any MINI DIYer's drawer. If you ever find this broken, just put the new one in and drive away.
(debris from the broken part should be collected in the filter. no need to clean or anything else.)
