This scoop does NOT ship with hardware. It is assumed that the existing hood scoop is being replaced and the hardware can be reused. If you are missing your hood scoop and or hardware we have a kit available here.

This is a molded scoop that has a larger intake area than the factory scoop to allow for more air to make it to the engine bay. The flared opening around the front edge also helps force more into the opening. This is a grey primered scoop that will need to be painted to match your MINI.

I had a bit of disappointment today when my new hitch arrived - it was not the correct model for my car.
In retrospect, I looked back at the ordering page and found that it was my mistake but I could see why. I searched for a hitch for a Mini-S R53 and it took me to a 1001 which is for a non-S R50. The model numbers for the hitches and the cars they match up with were at the very bottom of the page, which I didn't see when ordering. It would have been very helpful if the drop-down menu had not just the hitch model number (1003) but the car model as well (R50, R53...) to help avoid this confusion.
It cost me return shipping and another week or more of wait. Not fun.

Top notch company and service. Only place I could find a drain back valve for r53. $25 replacement vs $450+ for the entire oil filter housing. Best part was the service. UPS delivered my part 2 days late on a Next Day Air shipment ,which is not OutMotoring's fault, but OutMotoring went to bat for me and got me a refund. I really appreciate your customer service and other companies should follow suit. Thanks again you have earned my business from here on out.
