Not to hard to install as there are a couple of YouTube videos on it.
So much tidier than stock leather boot.

Advantages: Appearance is top notch.
Ease of installation.

Disadvantages: No instructions included.

I bought a blue ring to make it easy to differentiate between keys between my 2 MINIs, and it looks great. The only thing I don't like about it is the diameter is a hair larger than the original ring, making the fit in the ignition pretty tight. Over time I imagine it will wear a groove in the slot.

Just bought a 2006 MINI R53 and when changing the oil found this plunger loose in the filter housing with one of the "legs" missing. This fit perfectly. Super happy this was available.

This crank pulley is phenomenal. The stock Mini damper pulley is going to fail, usually be 60,000-80,000 miles. This replacement makes the engine run super smooth, so much so that sitting at a traffic light at idle, you can't even tell the engine is running.

Advantages: Smooth running engine. You're going to have to replace the stock damper pulley. You might as replace it with this one.

Disadvantages: You do have to pull the original Mini damper off, but it's not too difficult.

Easy to install and look greatv

This is the worst product I have ever used. The pulley removal tool was easily bent and mangled by the puller. My pulley never did come off with this product. At almost $90 Alta should be ashamed to offer such a low quality tool.

Overall not impressed. They weren't too expensive so I'm not mad, but these are really low quality.

Advantages: Easy to pop on, inexpensive.

Disadvantages: Bad quality plastic will pop off really easily. It's just a sticker on the front of they plastic and that can get torn really easily if not perfectly snug. Would be better off just applying a sticker straight to the metal, or drilling holes to screw them in.

Purchased these to start my dechroming of my Mini...Very easy to remove old, and easy to install these.. With my Union Jack tail lights, getting compliments on how much better it looks. Thanks.

Great cold air intake system which can be installed without hiring a mechanic. While the instructions/photos may not match your car exactly, can rely on listings as to whether it will fit or not. I notice a change in the engine sound more than anything else but do detect a bit less turbo lag. Watch as many YouTube videos as you can find if you are as I was new to installing components under the hood.

Advantages: It uses the otherwise nonfunctional hood scoop to bring in air from outside the engine bay. There is a heat shield which attaches to the hood and securely seals where the scoop and intake air travels through. It is not as pricey as some others and looks great installed.

Disadvantages: Other than photos and instructions not specifically matching what was under my hood, my only complaint was that the customer service rep gave me information inconsistent with what listing states. As it turned out the AEM rep was wrong and Aaron, the owner of Out Motoring was correct.

This looks great installed. It is super easy to install although you may have a bit of trouble getting the bolts close to the edge unscrewed. As I have learned all of the things under the hood are in a tight, small space and sometimes it is difficult to use your regular tools as they bump into something immovable under the hood when turning. Can feel the difference in the suspension and needed to adjust technique in tight curves.

Advantages: Great looking, easy to install, fits over the AEM cold air intake system on my 2015 JCW Roadster.

Disadvantages: None and isn't that grand!

Installed on 2009 mini cooper s fit perfect with no issues. The air filer gauge was not in the kit. It is in the pictures. But i did not see anything for it in the instructions. So i may not have been included. Had very noticeable power gain not much of a sound change.

Advantages: 50 state legal i was surprised has a carb sticker that goes on it. Comes with 3 decals and one on the tube. Looks great functions awesome. Very pleased.

Disadvantages: Decal on intake tube was crooked so i removed it an put on one of the included ones. Modification to the air box needed to use forge BOV kit because it hits the manifold pressure sensor. I used a heat gun to soften the plastic where the sensor is located. Then pushed the air box down onto the sensor while it was hot and held it until the plastic cooled now the box is reshaped over the sensor.

I installed this on my new-to-me 2006 MINI Cooper S.

Advantages: Installation took less than 10 minutes. The unit places the phone out of direct sight lines, compared to a dash mount.

Disadvantages: The most difficult part of the process was finding a T25 that was long and skinny enough to remove the screws that secure the tachometer, especially the one on the right.

Great product. Easy to install on my Clubman. Really accentuates the turbo and waste gate noises which is what I was after. It looks great under the hood too. I initially wanted to get the Eventuri but with the expense and lead time, I decided to go with the NM and I am completely satisfied.

I purchased these mats after the universal carpet version from an auto parts store just did not do the trick. Universal mats are a crappy band-aid, they last until your next oil change.

These mats are cut to specification, fit like from the factory, and keep your pedal controls free and safe to use. I like that they come up to the edges of the floor pans and really lay flat. They are also made from higher quality material.

Advantages: -great fit
-safe and roomy around floor pedals
-higher quality material than typical
-good price for material and fit
-factory-like appeal

Disadvantages: -i really would have liked a courtesy mat for the trunk or maybe some flowers- joking- these things are great with virtually no drawbacks.

I expected these to pop on simply and it did. What I did not expect is how much I like it. Completely changes the look of the fob. Very striking. Red to match my MINI. The wife is a little jealous, but she drives an R53. :p

These were frustrating to apply because of the stick on tape - it's unforgiving. One of my mirror caps isn't on as nicely as the other, and of course it's the one with the MINI ground display light that is a tiny bit covered.

Advantages: Was able to make my side mirrors red (from standard black) because there doesn't seem to be an actual red cap available for the 2020+ models yet.

Disadvantages: Unforgiving when doing placement.

I'm so glad I picked one of these up - it makes a HUGE difference in what can be stashed in the Mini glovebox without it all being a big jumble. The small interior of the car is sort of like living in a tiny efficiency apartment - you really have to do whatever you can to optimize the storage and layout, and this item is at the top of my list of Extras I'm Glad I Bought!!

Install was super easy and part fit perfectly. Wish I had known about this 4 years ago when mine broke and ended up buying a used oil filter housing. Good thing now is at least I have a complete spare oil filter housing and a spare drain plunger in my tool box just in case.

Advantages: Great quality part and easy to install. Fast shipping even to me here in Toronto Canada.

All white and silver areas on these mirror caps have SEVERELY yellowed over two years and now look horrible. No long-lasting quality for the price.

Ordered black out decal for belt below windows & love it & had no real issues applying! This, on the other hand, believe an expert is needed! Tried full on then decided to cut into sections…ended up throwing it all out! Sorry!

Advantages: Gréât price if you know what you’re doing!

Disadvantages: Way too flexible & with curves, had great difficulties.

Tried once & failed, yet was sent another at no charge! With right tips for applying, it was a breeze!

I am a 75-year old mechanical klutz, and I was able to install the NM Engineering Upper Stress Bar in my 2011 R55 Clubman in about 45 minutes. It is superbly made, fits perfectly, and it really improved the handling of my car.

Advantages: Well made
Easy installation
Greatly improves handling

Disadvantages: None!

Covers the chrome completely.
Fits very snug to the original handle so you wont catch it when washing the car. The double sided tape stickes well.

Reduces the turbo lag. Does what it says. By far the best thing I've put in my car next to the jb+ tuning chip.

Slightly misleading. Image appears to be a dark metallic/black chrome metal to the leather key chain. It was in fact a shiny chrome. Had I known I would have skipped.

Advantages: seemingly solid black braided leather strap with chrome metal facet.

Disadvantages: Not what was shown in item image.
